After Action Report:

A few months back I spilled some milk in my fairly new pickup. Even though I only spilled a small amount, I knew I had a big ass problem.
A quick Google search confirmed my suspicions. I had a major bio disaster on my hands. By the following day I could not drive with the windows closed, due to the putrid blue funk stench that had taken over my truck.
I ran straight to the pet store and got some Natures Miracle ® . I soaked everything with it. It did NOT work and now I had a perfume laced putrid blue funk stench…
While Google-ing Natures Miracle® to call them, I stumbled across a real miracle. First I want to give you a tip on products that claim to “eat” putrid blue funk stench. IF THEY ARE LACED WITH PERFUME- THEY DON’T WORK!!
The product that I did find is called SCOE 10X CLICK HERE
I spoke to the owner of the company and decided to give it a try. Another clue for you: If they sell a prove it works kit that contains: Concentrated Animal Urine/Feces Mix and Pure Skunk Oil with a 100% money back guarantee ….This is a VERY good sign. PROVE IT WORKS KIT
In short the product does work. This stuff is simply a modern miracle of science. It is so safe that the owner claims he has customers that use it for body odor. SCOE 10X literally eats the bacteria that causes the odor. THE PRODUCT ITSELF HAS ALMOST NO SMELL AND NO PERFUMES.
I was so impressed with the results on my truck that I wrote a lengthy review on their website and have consulted on several “putrid blue funk stench” episodes, that I have been contacted about. I have no affiliation with SCOE 10X but I feel that this new technology is way over due.
If you have any type of Blue Funk due to a biological source that you can put this stuff in contact with, it will kill the odor. Great for that body you left in the truck for a week…Just kidding
Seriously, I use this in the bathroom (this is not an air freshener) cat box, refrigerator, carpet, trash cans…funky clothes, helmet funk.. funky women (girls I am sure it will work on funky men too)
…..you name it.

Will sent us the following email:
Hello, First a general comment: My wife bought me a Maxair kit for my 2002 Yamaha V-Star, which I installed on 12/26, and have been enjoying ever since. All the statements about “not needing a 6th gear” and the like are absolutely true, and I couldn’t be happier. I actually rode my bike to Daytona Bike Week this year (about a 250 mile ride) and the highway speeds were no problem. Prior to the upgrade, 75 MPH was a real strain on the bike, and it just sounded like I was doing damage. But AFTER the upgrade, 75 actually seems tame! Also, you should know that my MPG has increased MARKEDLY! I now get 65 MPG out of my 1100! That is about 20% better than before!
Reason for the Email: I am actually writing to show you what I did to cover the carb after removing the old ugly air box and filter housing, and have attached a photo. I noticed that my twin carbs were actually identical units bolted together. It struck me that I should be able to mount the stock left-hand cover onto the right hand side. I measured it, and sure enough it was a perfect fit. I only needed the mounting bracket. After doing the research, however, I found that the mounting bracket is not sold as a part separate from the carburetor; if I wanted one, I would have to either buy an entire carb for $500, or fabricate my own. So I purchased some stock flat iron, and went to work. The whole thing (including the new stock chrome cover from Yamaha) cost me about $25, and took about an hour to make. As a finishing touch, I affixed your sticker to the new cover as a symbol of my pride of ownership. BTW, I get questions about it all the time at bike shows, and I recommend your product highly. I am your best salesman!
Please share this with your team, and feel free to post this to the blog on your site if you wish.
Thanks for a great product!
Best Regards, Will ~ Punta Gorda, FL
Thank for the feedback Will!! We have the design team take a look at your suggestion.

After waiting for a delayed shipment, we now have replacement MaxFlo filter elements available for purchase on our webstore (verified MaxFlo owners only) CLICK HERE. These awesome filter elements are the culmination of hard work on the part of our President and Product Engineer, Lee Sutherburg.
Not only are they pre-molded to fit much nicer than the old style flat filter but they are also have undergone some changes since the first molded version.
The filter now are now made of 10 mm backfire resistant foam. Thinner than the 18 mm older version, they offer much better flow without sacrificing filtration. The 18 mm simply was overkill and reduced flow. Also the backfire resistant material helps to dramatically extend the filter elements lifespan. (For RoadStars we also recommend adding our backfire-screen to your order due to that bike’s propensity to serious backfires- all current Roadstar Maxflos now come with this flash screen.)
Also available for all MaxFlo owners:
Chrome wire face Clip- We now have Chrome Wire face clips as optional upgrades to the MaxFlo Filter Series. Stainless steel is standard. (Note: Available only to verified MaxFlo original purchasers) Fits all MaxFlo line filters Click here

Finally we also recommend picking up Twin Air’s Awesome Bio Pak Oil and Cleaner kit available on our webstore CLICK HERE. This is the only product that should be used on our foam filter elements. Not only is it easy on the foam, it is also easy on you and the environment. No more mini environment distastes just trying to clean your filter. The Bio Oil is also far superior at filtration because it goes on like water and dries to a sticky nonflammable coating reducing any oil migration to a bare minimum and maximizing filtration.
