"The MaxFlo should be used only with our jet kit. It is the only jet kit that we provide technical support for and the only one that was developed from the ground up for the MaxFlo. The Maxflo filter flows massive air and does not require the air to turn a 90 deg angle like most other air kits do. A kit developed for another air filter assembly simply will not provide the same performance.
We feel so strongly that you should use our jet kit, that we include it free with the purchase of the Maxflo.

I recently ordered and installed the MaxFlo air filter and incredible is the only word I can think of that describes the air filter's looks, installation ease, and performance.
The jetting instructions where spot on for my bike, and easy to follow.
This is the third and last air filter I'll put on my Star.
It looks great, better then any photo.
The performance of the bike has improved and the carb response will set you back in your seat.
As an added bonus, customer support is fantastic.
You get the feeling that MaxAir really cares about it's products and customers, 5 stars isn't enough.

I installed the Maxair kit and PMS screw on my 05 Silverado with V&H Powershot exhaust.I went with this setup because of the look which I love but the performance is outstanding.I followed the instructions and all went well.The bike started right up and with a little tweak of the PMS screw my bike feels like it is supercharged.Thanks for a great product.

I was a little apprehensive about Jeting the carbuator for the frist time. The percise instruction were easy to follow I didn't even have to use Tec help. My Roadstar cranked up and ran perfectly the frist time. I am very sastified with the look and quality of the MaxFlo Air Filter and ease of installation. It has really woke up My 2000 Roadstar. This product is absolutely just what the doctor ordered for my Roadstar. It was easy to install , even for someone like me who has never re-jetted a carb before. Just follow the instructions and I was off and running in no time. The improved performance in the bike was fantastic !! Not many products comes with such easy to follow instructions and support to boot.
I would recommend the MaxAir air filter to anyone who wants to wake up there motorcycle and have a very cool looking air filter too.

If you are searching for an airkit mod that features a clean, retro look, superb performance, easy installation and great "after the sale" support, then your search is over. The MaxFlo airkit is a work of art, an engineering marvel and a "can't miss" installation, even for beginners (like me). If you are not sold on looks alone, then fire up your Road* and listen to her breathe - wow! If you are still not convinced, then take her for a ride, but be warned: speed kills!
