That 1100 runs so good. It pulls harder than my old 1200 Sportster I'm sure it does. God I love the wires and I love the pod kit and jets. Bike is set up just right now. What a difference, Thank you so much Max thank you so much

I was having serious electrical issues with my bike until I upgraded to the Flamewires kit. Solved bad starter drag as well with better current flow.

I've done the predator pro, ignition module, flame wires, Dyna coils, AIS removal, and of course Barnett clutch on my 04 VStar 1100. Getting 45-50mpg (up from about 35-40mpg)! And more power than I thought this little old 1100 could put out! Thanks Max!

I was having problems with my 08 Yamaha Vstar 1100 starting real hard. Like a big block engine. I had cleaned all the cable connections and even went as far as to install a new Shorai LFX21A6-BS12 Lithium battery at 315 Cold Cranking Amps It was a tiny bit better. I gave in ordered a set of FlameWires X2 for the bike. When they arrived, I was shocked at the size of the wires compared to the stock wires. I had to wait for a dry day to install the new wires because in Florida it always rains in the summer. I installed them on a Sunday morning in about 2 hours. And I was taking my time and talking to friends who kept stopping by on looking at what I was doing . WELL!!! When I hit the starter I thought I was going to have to go chase the starter across the parking lot. It has never started like that.. After completing the reinstall of all removed parts I went for a ride and every start makes me grin. This is a great upgrade to do to the Vstar 1100. I think in my opinion it is really needed and Yamaha should contact you for parts. You have a happy customer for life.

Saw the recomendation fot your product on the V Star 1100 web site, purchased a set, and just finished the installation today. Installation went quite well as long as you know what to do to remove mufflers and front exhaust pipe. Total time for me was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete the work and be back on the road. A very noticeable improvement in the way the starter now turns the engine over. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a Yamaha V Star model.

I ordered these about a month ago, and finally got around to installing them today. Easy, easy, easy! Why Yamaha didn't ship Vstar's with wires like this I'll never know, but they should take notice. This is the standard. Started the bike after installation, and there is a noticable differance in the ease that the bike starts with now. Amazing!

These wires look great and starting the bike is a breeze with the jolt of power these shoot to the starter. Installation was pretty simple and I highly recommend them. Thanks Max.

After I had already purchase my 2008 yami vstar 1100, I did as search on the web,"vstar 1100 problem." It became soon evident that my vstar was probably going to have problems with it's starter and starter clutch. That being said and MAX coming out with these wires, it was a easy choice. Easy install. Wire much thicker than stock, yet more flexible. ALSO keeping my bike maintained for easier starts.

I bought a 2000 V Star last fall and thought from the way it turned over that I would soon be replacing the battery. Although the bike turned over hard the battery just kept chugging on proving its strength. I read about these wires on the Maxair site while checking out the pro kit and decided to get the wires at the same time. The bike now turns over as fast as any other bike I've owned, I don't think you can really describe the diffrence well enough with words but when you hit your starter switch and there is absolutly no lag or drag wow is that a good feeling. I have had to replace my starter clutch already and I think if mama yamaha had put better wires on from the factory there would not be as many starter problems with these bikes. Thanks Max for a great product. Smilin in Ohio.
