Install was easy and bike fires right up effortlessly. Great upgrade for such a small cost. I also like having the peace of mind of having such heavy duty, weatherproof cables (no need for worry about corrosion with these) that will probably last forever and help my battery and starter last as well. Highly recomended!

I just installed these wires on my 10 year old 1100. The bike was not starting sounding like the battery was low. I found the battery and starter wires cracked and showing age for sure. Ordered Maxair wire set ... Instructions were great .. wires are great. The old bike fires right up. These definitely will help out starting and they look great too!! I highly recommend these. If you look at your old wires you wonder how your bike ever started in the first place!

For the last two weeks, I havent been able to start my bike, due to a grounding problem. After receiving and installing my FlameWires, my bike started right up. I had no problems with installation, and the quality and difference over stock is AMAZING! Thanks Maxair, I'll be ordering more soon!!

I love the flame wires. They look very sharp. I had no problem installing them, even without a mini-me to help. What's that old adage; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? Thanks!

I Installed the MAXAIR FLAMWWIRES on my 2006 V-Star 1100 Classic (slow to crank). The engine starts on first hit of the starter switch (No drag with notable quick starter response). The kit was complete and simple to install.

I would just like to say thanks for my new Flame wires. My 2000 Vstar was having starting problems first it was like dead battery, just clicking coming from starter relay. Checked battery 13.7 volts did load test and battery was fine after removing battery and replacing it I noticed a spark jumping from ground wire to frame moved wire and she started right up . After moving the wires around and testing them found stock wires old and brittel and sparks jumping all over them anywhere they would ground out. Ordered your new flame wires and did job in 1 hour Wow no problems truley plug and play. You guys are great easy to order from and fast . . thanks Lee great talking to you

The high quality beefy, but flexible Flame Wires are a real plus helping the starter run easier and faster. Those who have added extra accessories like lights, radio, etc. will benefit even more from the increased capacity of these wires. Installation was easy, using a 5mm metric T-handle 6" long hex wrench made removing the ground wire from the engine a snap.

Great product. What the bike always should have had, it carries plenty of juice to the starter. This should be the first thing to change on the bike.

After running a second ground wire, and replacing the battery,(which could still start may car) then checking all connections for corrosion I thought that I finally had the answer, that lasted for a season and a half and the problem return and I was not going to change a perfectly good battery again. Then I received a e-mail form maxair and then every-thing made sense, I was a little mad a my-self for not thinking of it, I ordered it right away, had to do a little modifying on the install, but have not had the problem any more and it was cheaper than having to buy another battery. Thank-You Maxair for another quality product. Keith Manning

Simply bolt on the Maxair Flamewires and the engine jumps to life,

The weakest link Is a bad ground. My V-Star 1100 is equipped with driving lights, heated grips, electric vest, CB radio, FM/CD stereo and auxiliary LED brake lights to draw down the electrical system. No surprise that I would see slow starts after taking a break or stopping for gas. But no longer, simply bolt on the Maxair Flamewires and the engine jumps to life at the push of a button. Fit and finish are great. Instructions are straight forward. No longer the weakest link.
